The new Antwerp Port Authority headquarters has been modernized by  Zaha Hadid Architects. Now an impressive faceted glass volume, over 100 meters in length, sits on the roof of the century-old fire station ; allowing 500 Port Authority workers to be on this site. Made of Saint-Gobain glass, this architectural masterpiece provides ample daylight, shade and views out to the Schelde River, city and port for workers.
